이전에 영어 줄임말에 대해 글을 하나 썼었는데요. 그 때는 온라인 상에서 채팅이나, 댓글로 영어 줄임말을 사용할 때를 생각하고 글을 썼었습니다.

그러다 얼마전 애니가 캐나다에 온지 얼마 안된 한국 친구와 핸드폰 문자(text)를 주고 받은적이 있었는데요. 애니가 2nite, tmr 이런 영어 줄임 표현을 썼는데, 그 친구가 이런 영어 줄임 표현을 모르더라구요. 그래서 오늘은 영어 줄임말 중에서도 핸드폰 문자(텍스트)를 보낼 때 자주 쓰이는 표현들을 정리해 봤습니다.  너무 많더군요. ㅎㄷㄷ;

위 표현들은 빙산의 일각에 불과합니다. 다 정리해 볼까 했지만, 너무 많은 양에... ㅎㄷㄷ;; 포기했습니다. 대신 잘 정리된 곳이 있어 아래에 링크 걸어뒀습니다. 더 많은 표현들이 궁금하신 분들은 아래 링크 방문하셔서 확인하시면 되겠습니다. 이렇게 영어 표현을 줄여써서 편리하고 간단하기도 하지만, 서로 알고 있다는 전제가 안 깔려있으면 난감할 수도 있겠어요.ㅎ 이거 뭐... 줄임말 리스트를 항상 소지하고 다녀야 하는게 아닌가 싶기도... 다 외우면 되려나요? ^^;
